SEIU 888 members at the City of Boston Age Strong are elated at the recent agreement negotiated by the union. President Tom McKeever worked closely with bargaining parties to achieve the highest level of compensation for the department in the history of Local 888.

The Age Strong department is tasked with enhancing the lives of Boston residents with meaningful programs, resources, and connections so that they can live and age strong in Boston together. The department hosts events, publishes a magazine, provides advocates, runs senior centers, and assists with food resources, houses, and transportation for Boston seniors 55 years of age and older. Additionally, this important group offers support for caregivers and those with dementia.

President Tom McKeever and SEIU 888 negotiated in good faith, with a never-wavering commitment to advocating for the respect and dignity of its members. SEIU 888 looks forward to continuing to support Age Strong for years to come!
