Two people working diligently behind the scenes in the Boston Police Department are finally getting the raises they deserve. Ann Marie Kelly and Anne Leonard are both Digital Recording and Records Librarians for the BPD. As such, they are tasked with reviewing all of the incoming recorded phone lines and grouping digitally recorded footage for court proceedings. Thanks to effective negotiating by President Tom McKeever and SEIU 888 on behalf of Kelly and Leonard, both have been reclassified at a much higher grade and are receiving over $55,000 in backpay.
As valued members of Boston’s public safety team, we are thrilled that Kelly and Leonard are being compensated fairly for their important work.
